The End of an Era and the Start of a New

As you may have gathered from my last few posts there are big things in the works. Today I finally get to shed some light on to what those things are. For the last three months I have been wrapping up six years of work with a new goal in mind. On tuesday the twenty third of February I left my employment at Loopia. It has been a great place to work and I have gotten to know some of the best people in the business as my friends.

However, to further challenge myself and and see more then one side of the coin I wanted to do something new. I wanted my new job to be a mix of a great many things but the most important parts where social interaction, responsibility, marketing, product and brand development and Internet related services and technology. As my main expertise lies with domain names it would not be a wild guess that I would have something to do with that even after my change of employer.

Just a few moments ago I published the first of many press releases that I will be doing. It handles the subject of me being recruited as Director of Marketing for .NU Domain ltd. As most of you know or understands by the name we are talking about the registry for the .NU top level domain.
